1. Heräämisiä

Awakenings
'Awakenings' is a song about a feeling everyone has surely experienced: you think you have woken up but you have just woken into another dream. You wake normally at your home, do your morning duties but when you step out of the door you realise that you are in a totally new world. Just when the new reality makes you really interested, you wake up again. You do your morning duties normally again. But how can you know you really are awake?
Timo Hirvonen-bass, Olli Haavisto-pedal steel, Timo Kämäräinen-guitar and slide guitar, Mikko Kaakkuriniemi-drums, Pentti Lahti-saxophones, Arttu Takalo-vibrafone, Jukka Eskola-trumpet, Ilmari Pohjola-trombone

Flower Girl
A little boy walks in a desert. He does not know where he is going but the destination seems important. Every now and then he hears a woman calling. There is a long way to go but a point appeared into the horizon is getting closer all the time. Finally he is at his destination. He raises his head and notices a stall made of newspapers. There is a young woman dressed up on a wedding dress. The stall is full of flowers and the boy concludes that the woman is a florist.

3. Avaruuskahvila

Space Café

Pizzarestaurantjazz orchestra "Fiesta Serious" from The Earth is travelling to New Xorg, to perform first time outside their own galaxy. The travel is taking three months, gig 6 minute. The playing is going well until intergalactic jazzpolices come and interrupt the gig. The guys of Fiesta Serious seem to have missed filing some papers; the centuries lasted harmonization work of playlicence regulations has borne no fruit even yet, there are SO many planets. The gig seems to interrupt but luckily there is a local folk music band present. They get very angry about the breaking down of the show. A heated discussion commences. Shall the love to the music win the supremacy of bureaucracy?

Mikko Kaakkuriniemi-drums, Anssi Växby-bass, Timo Kämäräinen-guitar, Pentti Lahti-saxophones, Jukka Eskola-trumpet, Arttu Takalo-vibrafone

4. Rajatila

Borderline
The borderline between states of sleep and wake is probably common to many. Normally these are hallucinations caused by overtiredness. In this kind of situations you often start to doubt your own mental health. For example, things may happen in different speeds. The clock may tick faster than normally and people's talk may seem slow-motioned. The movements of the people may look exaggerated and colours may be confused. At first you get scared but little by little the new world around the borderline starts to fell very attractive.
Mikko Kaakkuriniemi-drums, Timo Hirvonen-bass, Timo Kämäräinen-guitar and piano

5. Poissaoleville

For The Absent Ones
A song for all absent people. Both for the dreamers and for those who sleep the eternal sleep.
Timo Kämäräinen-guitars

6. Kaupunkiralli

City Rally
An old Mercedes Benz is speeding down the roads across Kuopio (City in the middle of Finland). The car looks normal except that it does not have any wheels. The driver is a manic cartoon character who rolls his eyes. I am sitting next to the driver and getting scared: the car doesn't have any brakes either. A muddleheaded toon is pressing the pedals but nothing happens. I stick to the handbrake which surprisingly works. The car rolls violently to crossroads but stays in its wheels. Across the street there is an elderly puffy policeman standing. The policeman is holding a plate and laddling rice crispies. The cartoon character gets scared and starts to drive again, the policeman following right behind us. Believing we have misled the policeman to gravel pits we go on to the block of flats I live. On one of the doors there is a sign that says "Superman". The toon knocks and a superman-suited man opens. The man points the door next to his apartment and tells that I live there. The toon nods and we go into my apartment. The policeman who was chasing us is sitting by the table still eating rice crispies. We are discouraged, the long hot summer night we've spent with that redneck policeman chasing us is over. He puts the plate with crispies away, takes a careful classical singing posture and says something non-understandable.

7. Yhessä

Together
A sweet dream from which I don't want to wake up. I'm floating in serenity with friends and there is no need for fighting or descending on the earth.

8. Irrota

Release
There is a storm. I'm about to fall from a precipice but I am strongly holding a branch. The world up looks dull and poor. Down there is darkness but I would like to let go my hold of the branch. I am still afraid not getting back. I wish I could fly.
Joonas Riippa-drums, Timo Hirvonen-bass, Timo Kämäräinen-guitars, Mikko Helevä-organ

9. Supernova

Supernova
A pale sunshine is making the land glitter. There is a little snow on the fields. A party in an old country house is about to begin. The atmosphere is nice and calm. People are clinking glasses in a civilized manner. One of the guests is asking the others to come behind the barn. It is very beautiful outside. Everybody is looking into the sky. The sun is much bigger than usually, enormous fireball heating and lighting more powerfully than ever before. At first the people admire and wonder the beautiful vision and touch the thin coating of snow that looks almost orange. Little by little everybody understands that the end of the world is close. One of the guests opens the Bible and delivers tranquilizers for everyone. A young man hears a familiar song from the distance. Like doped he starts to go towards the singing. He is no longer afraid. The way feels shorter, much shorter than last time. Soon he arrives at the stall made of newspapers. The young woman at the stall gives him flowers and says in a calm tone: "These flowers are here for you."
Mikko Kaakkuriniemi-drums, Anssi Växby-bass, Arttu Takalo-vibrafone, Eeppi Ursin-vocals, Timo Kämäräinen-guitars
