Beagon consists of three different, strong and passionate persons. Members of the band, Timo Kämäräinen (lead vocals, guitar), Jape Karjalainen (bass) and Olli Krogerus (drums), have been involved with the Finnish rock scene for years already and are known behind many famous bands and artists in Finland but now fully concentrating on Beagon’s career. The methods of the band are quite unusual: Beagon has worked since the beginning of its career with a thematic trilogy. On the first album "Countryside", released by Buckshotmusic in Finland in 2005, Beagon longs back to the countryside, away from the cold city. The album is based on the life of a man moved from countryside to a big city in his early twenties. The second part of the trilogy, "Traffic" was released in August 2007 by Hana Records: The saga of the guy from countryside goes on - he's little by little getting used to the hot rhythms of the city and finds a new friend from discotheque. And you do not have to wait for long for the third part of the trilogy - the hit songs for the third album are already composed. The band gets its fuel of the manic creativity of the lead singer and song writer Timo Kämäräinen who can be remembered also of his soloalbum Unea, released in Finland in 2005. "I spent years listening to classic pop and rock albums of greats like Beatles, Led Zeppelin and Bowie. That’s where are the roots of my songwriting", Timo explains and continues "On 'Traffic' I got interested in heavily gated drum sounds and other alienated things to create rough contrasts. I think that the outcome is personal and fresh." That’s why Beagon sounds so modern and vital: Beagon is an interesting mixture of classic pop songs with twisted new wave flavor here and there. Their personal sound has been compared to many very different kind of bands - from David Bowie to Scissor Sisters.
